Miyako City Sightseeing boat, "Miyako Umineko Maru," is a new sightseeing boat in Miyako City that takes you to the beautiful scenery of Jodogahama Beach, a national scenic spot, as well as Sanriku Geopark and Geosite with a guide. While looking out into the beautiful ocean, you can also enjoy feeding the black-tailed gulls.

Enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean from the observation deck,
a second-to-none natural piece of art
that is only available while on boat.

You can hop onto the boat either from Desaki Pier or Jodogahama Beach.
It is a sightseeing boat that visits Sanriku Geopark and Geosite, such as the national scenic spot Jodogahama beach with a guide.

You will find Shiokaze Park on the tip. Centered on the road station and Sea Topia Naada, there is a lot to see in the area!

This is where you get off at Jodogahama Beach. 10 minutes from Desaki Pier.

Pass through the front of Jodogahama Beach. The evergreen trees on the rocks create a beautiful contrast with the white rock surface.

You can see the hall of "Koyasu Jizo of Sai-no-Kawara" on the rock.

The name "Umineko" is intended to bring smiles to everyone's faces just like the black-tailed gulls (umineko) do, and to carry "hope" on its wings as a symbol of Miyako City and the memories of connection you all have.
